Waa Solar’s ₹225 Crore Solar Win in Madhya Pradesh

Waa Solar has received multiple Letters of Award (LoAs) from MP Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (MPUVNL) for the development of grid-connected, solar photovoltaic (PV)–based power plants under the Surya Mitra Krishi Feeders Scheme.

The scope of work also includes feeder solarisation under the PM KUSUM–C scheme, with the generated power to be sold to Madhya Pradesh Power Management Company Limited (MPPMCL). The contracts, collectively valued at approximately Rs 225 crore, are to be executed within 18 months from the signing of the respective power purchase agreements (PPAs).

The projects will support Madhya Pradesh’s renewable energy targets by strengthening its solar power infrastructure and providing reliable, sustainable energy for agricultural feeders. The awards further reinforce Waa Solar’s presence in the grid-connected solar energy segment and its focus on clean and sustainable power generation.
