Waaree Energizes India: New 5.15 GWh Storage Facility Goes Live

Waaree Energies Ltd has officially launched its new 5.15 GWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) container manufacturing facility in Rola, Gujarat. Operated by its subsidiary, Waaree Energy Storage Solutions (Waaree ESS), the plant integrates Industry 4.0 technologies and serves as the initial phase of the company's 20 GWh energy storage roadmap. Following this launch, Waaree plans to further expand its domestic ecosystem with upcoming 5.15 GWh battery pack and 3.5 GWh lithium cell manufacturing capabilities to bolster India’s clean energy transition.
