Waaree RTL Greenlights Revised 704 MWac Capacity

Waaree Renewable Technologies (WAAREERTL) has received a letter of award (LoA) for a revised project capacity of 704 MWac/1,000 MWp, reflecting adjustments related to evacuation constraints and DC overloading optimisation.

Following the revision, the contract value has been reduced to Rs 1,039.60 crore from Rs 1,252.43 crore, a decrease of Rs 212.83 crore, excluding taxes. The company said that despite the lower capacity and revised contract value, all other terms and conditions, scope of work, and the pricing structure remain unchanged and will continue to apply in full.

Under the revised schedule, the project is expected to be completed during the 2026–27 financial year.

The revision underscores the company’s focus on operational efficiency and optimisation while preserving the overall integrity of the project.
