Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah just announced a massive upgrade to Rajasthan's cooperative infrastructure. By greenlighting 160 warehouses—including laying the foundation for 10 new ones, opening 50 completed sites, and handing 100 over to the Rajasthan State Warehousing Corporation—the government is taking a massive bite out of post-harvest losses and supercharging rural logistics.

But it’s not just about economy; it’s about ecology too. Minister Shah also kicked off the 'Sahkar Van' project in Jaipur. This 64-acre initiative in Sumel village will use cutting-edge Miyawaki and traditional planting methods to grow native trees like Khejri, Rohida, and Neem—proving that economic growth and green sustainability can go hand-in-hand.
