Smel Specialty Alloys Private Limited is gearing up to launch a transformative Pig Iron Unit Project in Mangalpur, Bardhaman, West Bengal, signaling a significant advancement in the metallurgical industry. With a substantial investment of 165 Crores, the company plans to establish a state-of-the-art facility capable of producing 24,120 tonnes per annum (TPA) of pig iron. This strategic initiative underscores Smel Specialty Alloys' commitment to meeting the increasing demand for pig iron in various industrial applications.

The core focus of the project lies in the production of pig iron, a vital raw material used in steelmaking and foundry operations. By leveraging cutting-edge technology and efficient processes, Smel Specialty Alloys aims to deliver high-quality pig iron products that meet stringent quality standards. The venture underscores the company's dedication to product excellence and customer satisfaction.

Additionally, the project includes the production of 36,000 tonnes per annum (TPA) of titanium slag, further diversifying Smel Specialty Alloys' product portfolio. Titanium slag is a valuable by-product with applications in industries such as aerospace, automotive, and construction. By tapping into this market segment, the company aims to enhance its revenue streams and strengthen its competitive position in the metallurgical sector.
