HFCL has secured an order worth approximately ₹157 crore for the supply of various types of optical fiber cables under the BharatNet Phase III project, specifically for the West Bengal Telecom Circle.
The order was awarded by Tera Software, a consortium partner of ITI, which is responsible for executing this large-scale digital infrastructure initiative. The supplied cables will play a critical role in expanding broadband connectivity to rural and remote areas across West Bengal.
A recognized leader in telecom infrastructure solutions, HFCL will fulfill the order over a three-year period, in line with the scheduled rollout of BharatNet Phase III. BharatNet is a flagship initiative by the Government of India, aimed at delivering high-speed digital connectivity to gram panchayats and underserved regions nationwide.
