Winds of Change: Ayana Secures 193 MW Wind Project

Ayana Renewable Power Private Limited has emerged as a successful bidder in MPPMCL’s recent wind power e-reverse auction concluded on June 30, 2026. Ayana secured a 193 MW capacity at a tariff of ₹4.17 per kWh.

The procurement process, initiated by MPPMCL for a base capacity of 800 MW, included a 100% greenshoe option allowing for up to an additional 800 MW of pan-India project development. Ayana stated that the win boosts its clean energy footprint and supports India's wind capacity targets. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited (a 50:50 joint venture between NTPC Green Energy and ONGC Green).
