Wyndham & Hyson: A New Chapter for Kochi Hospitality

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts has entered into a partnership with Hyson Hospitalities to develop a Ramada Encore hotel in Kalamassery, Kochi, scheduled to open in 2026.

The upcoming 57-room property is designed to cater to rising demand from business, medical, educational, and leisure travellers. Situated in the fast-developing Kalamassery corridor, the hotel will feature modern amenities including well-appointed guest rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, a rooftop restaurant, a fitness centre, and dedicated meeting facilities.

Commenting on the development, P P Fasalu, Director of Hyson Hospitalities, said the project aims to deliver an internationally benchmarked hospitality experience while contributing to Kochi’s evolving accommodation landscape.

The development aligns with the region’s growth, driven by expanding industrial activity, healthcare institutions, and improved connectivity. The project further strengthens Hyson Hospitalities’ footprint in Kerala and reflects the growing demand for quality midscale hotels in high-potential urban markets.
