Yamato Goes Big in India: Meet the NH8 Logistics Center

Yamato Logistics India (YLI), a subsidiary of Yamato Holdings, on January 8, 2026, inaugurated its largest overseas logistics facility, the NH8 (Sidhrawali) Logistics Center, in Haryana.

Strategically located, the centre is designed to serve both domestic and international logistics requirements, offering advanced contract logistics (CL) services tailored to manufacturing customers expanding in India as well as in emerging markets across the Middle East and Africa. Leveraging its experience in providing high-quality CL services to Japanese manufacturers, YLI aims to help address evolving global supply chain challenges.

The facility is situated along a key highway connecting Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Chennai, positioning it as a major transit hub. Its proximity to inland container depots (ICDs) and airports further strengthens its role as a gateway warehouse and cross-docking terminal.

The expansion aligns with the rapid growth of India’s manufacturing sector, supported by initiatives such as “Make in India,” and underscores YLI’s commitment to strengthening logistics infrastructure in the country.
