Yogi's Vision: A ₹30,000 Crore Master Plan for Braj's Transformation

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath unveiled a comprehensive ₹30,000 crore Master Plan for the holistic development of the Braj region, during his visit to Mathura on Janmashtami.

As part of the initiative, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 118 projects worth ₹646 crore, focusing on the beautification of Parikrama paths, restoration of kunds (sacred ponds), improving regional connectivity, and water conservation.

Highlighting India as a confluence of spirituality and modern development, CM Adityanath credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision for guiding these efforts. He reaffirmed the state government's commitment to honouring the sentiments of saints and enriching the cultural and spiritual heritage of Braj.

He also emphasized that ensuring the uninterrupted flow of the Yamuna River, akin to the revitalization of the Ganga, remains a top priority under the double-engine government model.
