ZEISS Expands Quality Reach in Ahmedabad

ZEISS, a global leader in precision measurement solutions, has officially launched its sixth Quality Excellence Center (QEC) in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This strategic move underscores ZEISS's commitment to supporting India's rapidly growing manufacturing sector by providing localized access to cutting-edge quality assurance solutions.

The new QEC will serve as a hub for expertise and manpower to enhance quality control, optimize production processes, and help manufacturers meet international standards. The center is equipped with ZEISS’s latest technologies, including coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and optical 3D scanners, along with other advanced measurement systems. It will offer a wide range of services, including product demonstrations, hands-on customer training, and technical consultations, all designed to streamline inspection workflows and improve operational efficiency.

Aveen Padmaprabha, Head of Industrial Quality Solutions at ZEISS India, highlighted the significance of the new QEC in supporting India's emergence as a global manufacturing powerhouse. He emphasized that the center will play a crucial role in helping various industries—such as automotive, medical, electronics, and electric vehicles (EVs)—achieve precise measurements and meet the highest quality standards.

This new QEC adds to ZEISS’s expanding network of centers across India, reinforcing the company’s dedication to advancing high-precision manufacturing capabilities. Through this facility, ZEISS aims to empower manufacturers in Gujarat and beyond, helping them achieve operational excellence and drive innovation with edge-quality solutions.
