Zetwerk Electrifies Bengaluru with New Plant

Zetwerk Electronics, a division of the USD 2.1 billion (approx. ₹17,500 crore) Zetwerk Manufacturing Businesses, inaugurated its latest electronics manufacturing facility in Bengaluru on June 11, 2025. This marks the company's eighth manufacturing unit in India and follows the launch of its largest electronics facility near Chennai just three months ago, part of a previously announced ₹1,000 crore investment.

The new Bengaluru plant is set to support a wide array of high-growth sectors, including industrials, telecom, automotive, consumer durables, and strategic electronics. With existing facilities in Noida, Gurugram, Chennai, and now Bengaluru, Zetwerk continues to expand its national manufacturing footprint.

Zetwerk aims to scale production capacity to manufacture two devices per second across its Indian operations.

“This new investment strengthens our ambition to serve high-growth sectors with world-class manufacturing solutions from India,” said Josh Foulger, President – Zetwerk Electronics. Co-founder Rahul Sharma added, “This facility will play a vital role in expanding our manufacturing capabilities and delivering enhanced value to our customers.”

Operating as a managed marketplace for contract manufacturing, Zetwerk supports clients throughout the value chain—from supplier selection to final delivery. The company plans to hire over 2,000 employees at the new site, reinforcing its position in India’s fast-growing Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) sector.
