ZF Group has made a significant entry into India’s powertrain and next-generation mobility market by securing major test system orders, including the supply of India’s first 440 kW differential unit test bench.
This state-of-the-art system features a 3E dynamometer setup with a direct shaft connection to the test unit, eliminating the need for gearboxes or chains. The result is greater testing precision, enhanced efficiency, and reduced mechanical losses during evaluations.
In addition to the differential unit test bench, ZF has received orders for eight advanced tyre test benches. These systems cover a broad range of testing applications including:
Endurance testing, High-speed testing, Rolling resistance measurement, End-of-line quality checks
These cutting-edge test systems will be deployed by leading Indian tyre manufacturers, significantly strengthening their R&D capabilities and production quality assurance processes.
According to ZF, the introduction of these solutions will play a key role in improving the quality, safety, and performance of both powertrain and tyre components, further aligning with India’s vision for safer, high-performance, and sustainable mobility.
