Zincing the Future: Hindustan Zinc Partners with Sulfozyme Agro

Hindustan Zinc, a Vedanta Group company, has entered into a partnership with Sulfozyme Agro India under its Zinc Industrial Park initiative to promote sustainable metal recovery and value-added manufacturing. The collaboration is aimed at strengthening the circular economy by enhancing the efficient utilisation of zinc-based resources through integrated industrial processes.

Under the agreement, Sulfozyme Agro India will establish operations within the Zinc Industrial Park, where it will process zinc-based materials into specialised products for industrial and downstream applications. Hindustan Zinc will provide assured access to raw materials and long-term ecosystem support, enabling streamlined operations and a reliable supply chain framework.

The partnership is expected to foster innovation, encourage sustainable manufacturing practices, and create a robust metals value chain within the industrial park ecosystem. It also aligns with broader efforts to improve resource efficiency, support industrial growth, and expand the adoption of environmentally responsible production processes in the sector.
