Zoetis Inc., the global leader in animal health, is set to significantly expand its Zoetis India Capability Center in Hyderabad, with the new facility scheduled to open in September 2024. This expansion will enhance Zoetis' technology portfolio and create numerous job opportunities, underscoring the company's commitment to advancing animal health through innovative solutions.
The announcement was made during a meeting between Zoetis' management and Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, who is leading a high-level delegation in the U.S. Chief Minister Reddy praised the expansion, stating, “Zoetis’ decision to grow their Hyderabad center reflects our thriving ecosystem and reinforces Telangana’s status as a hub for innovation and advanced technologies.”
Keith Sarbaugh, Chief Information Officer at Zoetis, emphasized Hyderabad's strategic advantages: “The city provides an excellent talent pool and a robust life sciences ecosystem. This expansion reaffirms our dedication to driving forward animal health and technological advancements.”
Zoetis, a Fortune 500 company, is a prominent player in the animal health sector, generating $8.5 billion in revenue in 2023 and employing around 14,100 people worldwide. The new center will contribute to its ongoing success and innovation in the field.
