Vikram Mills has announced a strategic expansion with the installation of a 100-tonne-per-day “rice-to-rice” processing plant at its headquarters in the Lawrence Road Industrial Area.
The new facility marks an important step in the company’s evolution from a specialised flour milling business into a broader agro-products enterprise. The plant will complement Vikram Mills’ existing wheat processing operations while significantly strengthening its rice production capabilities, particularly in the Delhi NCR.
According to Shubham Garg, the expansion will enhance the company’s supply chain and logistics network. He noted that the firm’s regional growth, especially through its facility in Rohtak, has helped streamline sourcing, processing, and distribution operations, enabling the launch of the new plant.
With this addition, Vikram Mills continues to diversify and scale its operations, expanding capacity to meet the growing long-term demand for both wheat and rice products.
