Hindustan Power Secures Rs 1,135 Cr for UP Solar Push

Hindustan Power has secured a Rs 1,135 crore debt financing package from the Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency (IREDA) to fund its 435 MWp (300 MW) solar project in Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh. Awarded via a 2025 competitive bidding process, the facility features a long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation. Chairman Ratul Puri noted that this landmark installation will significantly bolster the state's clean energy infrastructure to meet rising power demands.
