JSW Energy’s Clean Energy Leap: Total Capacity Soars to 14,920 MW

JSW Energy Expansion Update: JSW Energy has expanded its total installed generation capacity to 14,920 MW following the acquisition of Maruti Clean Coal and Power Ltd, adding 1,166 MW of renewable energy since April 2026.

Clean energy now represents 60% of the company’s portfolio (comprising wind, solar, hybrid, and hydro), balanced by a 5,958 MW thermal base. With a total locked-in capacity of 32.4 GW (operational, under-construction, and pipeline) and 29.6 GWh of energy storage, JSW Energy remains on track to hit its 2030 targets of 30 GW generation capacity, 40 GWh storage capacity, and carbon neutrality by 2050.
