Solar Surge: NTPC Green Powers Up 64.76 MW at Khavda

NTPC Green Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, achieved a key milestone in its clean energy expansion on July 24, 2026, by commencing commercial operations of a 64.76 MW solar capacity at its Khavda project in Gujarat. This newly operationalized capacity—part of a larger 225 MW solar initiative—brings NTPC Green Energy’s total renewable capacity to 10,786 MW, pushing the broader NTPC Group’s total commercial capacity to 10,721 MW.
