Premier Energies has announced the commissioning of its 5.6 GW solar module manufacturing facility at Seetharampur in Telangana, with trial production now underway. The new plant marks a significant step in expanding the company’s renewable energy manufacturing capabilities.
Chiranjeev Saluja, Managing Director of Premier Energies, described the development as a major milestone in the company’s journey toward building a fully integrated solar manufacturing ecosystem. He noted that the facility leverages advanced technologies and strengthens the company’s presence across the value chain—from ingots to modules—enabling it to deliver reliable, high-efficiency solutions at scale while supporting India’s clean energy transition.
Sudhir Reddy, Chief Strategy Officer, said the commissioning reinforces the Hyderabad-based company’s plans to scale up integrated manufacturing, adding that the move aligns closely with India’s broader renewable energy ambitions.
