PNC Infratech bags ₹297 crore Varanasi airport project

PNC Infratech has been declared the Lowest (L1) bidder for the development of Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport in Varanasi. The tender was issued by the Airports Authority of India (AAI).

The scope of work includes:

Runway extension, Re-carpeting and strengthening of the existing runway, Associated infrastructure works

The project carries a bid value of ₹297.01 crore, and the execution period is set at 18 months. Financial bids were opened on 2 September 2025.

This win further strengthens PNC Infratech’s position in the aviation infrastructure space, showcasing its expertise in complex, high-value civil engineering projects. The award also reflects the government's ongoing commitment to modernising regional airports under its broader infrastructure development agenda.
