A leading cement producer is set to establish a greenfield integrated manufacturing plant in Koraput, Odisha. The ₹2,000 crore project secured high-level approval from the state government in February 2026, clearing the way for its implementation.
Designed to tap into the region’s abundant mineral resources, the facility will cater to demand across the Odisha–Andhra corridor. The project is expected to generate around 1,000 employment opportunities and position Koraput as an emerging industrial hub in the state.
