Jewar's Sky's the Limit: Noida Airport Set for Takeoff!

The Noida International Airport (NIA) in Jewar, Uttar Pradesh, is approaching its operational launch, according to Tata Projects, the infrastructure arm of the Tata Group.

Tata Projects, which holds the construction contract, has largely completed the airport’s development and is now in the final stages of securing regulatory approvals. The company is working closely with the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) to obtain safety, security, and aerodrome licences. CEO Vinayak Pai confirmed that the project is ready for inauguration pending these clearances.

Tata Projects is simultaneously broadening its presence in emerging sectors such as semiconductor manufacturing, solar panel production, and data centres, with its order book projected to reach ₹40,000–43,000 crore.
