Tata Projects Wins Greenfield Auto Plant Deal

Tata Projects Limited, the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) arm of the Tata Group, has secured a major contract to develop a greenfield manufacturing plant for a global automotive manufacturer in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra.

The project scope covers three key packages: the assembly shop, press and weld shop, and auxiliary support structures. Under the agreement, Tata Projects will handle civil and structural construction, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems, commissioning, and final facility handover.

This strategic win strengthens Tata Projects’ footprint in the automotive and advanced manufacturing infrastructure domain, building on its growing portfolio in semiconductors, battery plants, data centres, and technology-intensive industrial assets.
