Escorts Kubota Unveils ₹4,500 Crore Mfg Facility in Uttar Pradesh

Escorts Kubota has announced plans to establish a new integrated greenfield manufacturing facility in Uttar Pradesh, with an estimated investment exceeding ₹4,500 crore. This ambitious project is aimed at significantly expanding the company’s production capacities to meet growing future demand.

The facility will be developed on approximately 250-300 acres of land, with a portion dedicated to additional tractor and engine manufacturing capacities, while the remaining area will support future growth needs. The project is expected to generate annual production revenue of over ₹10,000 crore, alongside creating direct and indirect employment opportunities for more than 14,000 people when operating at full capacity.

Implementation of this large-scale project is scheduled to begin in 2028. Escorts Kubota plans to utilize funds raised from a previous preferential share issue to Kubota Corporation, Japan, along with internal accruals, to finance this expansion.

The new facility underscores Escorts Kubota’s commitment to strengthening its presence in both the domestic and global markets. This strategic investment will enhance the company’s ability to cater to the increasing demand for tractors and engines, solidifying its position as a key player in the agricultural equipment industry.

With this significant expansion, Escorts Kubota aims to not only boost its production capabilities but also contribute to the economic development of Uttar Pradesh by creating jobs and fostering industrial growth in the region.
