JSW Motors has partnered with KPIT Technologies to develop a next-generation software and digital infrastructure for India’s new energy vehicle (NEV) ecosystem.
Announced in Pune, the strategic collaboration leverages KPIT’s global expertise in software-defined vehicles (SDVs)—gained from over 2,000 vehicle programs worldwide—with JSW Motors’ bold vision to drive clean mobility in India. The alliance aims to accelerate innovation in electric, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid vehicles, offering intelligent, connected, and sustainable solutions.
JSW Motors, the automotive arm of JSW Group, plans to invest ₹24,900 crore over five years, with its first NEV launch slated for the second half of FY26. A 630-acre automotive manufacturing hub is being developed in Bidkin, Maharashtra, to support this roadmap.
This partnership also marks KPIT’s continued focus on India’s evolving auto sector, while reinforcing both companies' commitment to delivering cutting-edge mobility experiences and enabling India’s transition to a greener future.
