Power Trio: Scaling India’s Grid for a Green Tomorrow.

Bajel Projects has signed a collaboration agreement with the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF) and AnantGrid to explore power transmission opportunities in India.

The partnership aims to jointly participate in projects related to renewable energy integration and grid modernisation in the transmission sector. India’s target of installing 500 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2030 is expected to significantly increase the demand for transmission infrastructure. The collaboration will leverage NIIF’s investment and asset management expertise, AnantGrid’s business development and project management strengths, and Bajel’s engineering and execution capabilities.

Together, the three entities plan to focus on developing transmission projects that support India’s growing electricity demand and renewable energy goals.

“AnantGrid views power transmission as central to India’s growth. As the country accelerates its energy transition, significant capex will be required to meet rising electricity demand. We remain focused on building high-quality, reliable transmission assets. Our partnership with Bajel strengthens this commitment, enabling us to jointly bid and deliver projects of mutual interest and contribute to India’s grid expansion,” said Bimal Dayal, Chief Executive Officer of AnantGrid.
