Gestamp Expands Footprint with ₹523.7 Crore Gujarat Plant

Gestamp Automotive expanded its Indian manufacturing footprint by inaugurating its fifth facility in Bhagapura, Gujarat, backed by a ₹523.7 crore investment across two phases. Spanning 31,790 square meters and supporting a workforce of approximately 240 employees, the advanced plant specializes in body-in-white (BiW) components utilizing cutting-edge hot stamping, laser cutting, and welding technologies. The site is engineered to produce Ges-Gigastamping family products while aligning with corporate sustainability goals through planned renewable energy procurement agreements. This addition complements Gestamp's existing network of four Indian plants located in Pune (three) and Chennai (one).
