Ola Electric Charges Up with ₹2,000 Crore Expansion Investment

Ola Electric Mobility has announced an investment of ₹2,000 crore in its wholly owned subsidiaries, Ola Electric Technologies and Ola Cell Technologies, as part of its strategy to expand operations and strengthen its electric vehicle ecosystem.

The Bengaluru-based electric two-wheeler manufacturer said ₹500 crore will be invested in Ola Cell Technologies to support battery cell manufacturing and distribution operations. The remaining ₹1,500 crore will be infused into Ola Electric Technologies, which manages electric vehicle manufacturing and related services across the EV value chain.

According to the company, the investment is intended to scale its EV and battery manufacturing capabilities as it continues to expand its footprint in India’s rapidly growing electric mobility market.
