Ester Industries Locks In 15,000-Tonne Global rPET Deal

Ester Industries Limited, a leading manufacturer of specialty polymers and polyester films, reported resilient Q1FY27 performance for the period ended June 30, 2026, driven by strategic execution and favorable demand trends.

Capitalizing on mandatory post-consumer recycled (PCR) content guidelines under the Plastic Waste Management Rules, the company is optimizing its product mix toward value-added and recycled PET (rPET) offerings.

In a major commercial milestone for its ELITe project, Ester has secured a Letter of Intent (LoI) from a premier global sports and athletic brand. The potential multi-year agreement involves an annual supply of up to 15,000 tonnes of Loop PET Fiber Grade resin from its upcoming Gujarat plant. With substantial capacity already pre-committed, Ester continues to build a strong foundation for sustainable, high-margin expansion.
