NTPC Awards ₹78.65 Crore Locomotive Contract to RITES

RITES Limited has secured a rate contract from NTPC Limited for leasing diesel locomotives to support operations at NTPC power plants across India.

As per the agreement, individual NTPC stations will issue separate purchase orders during the contract period, detailing specific requirements such as quantity, timelines, and execution costs.

The indicative contract value is ₹78.65 crore (excluding GST), with the final value subject to actual demand from various NTPC sites.

This contract reinforces RITES’ position as a key partner in providing rail logistics solutions for India’s largest power producer.
