BASF, a global chemical major, is set to establish two global hubs in Hyderabad, reinforcing the city’s growing status as a preferred destination for multinational operations.
The company will set up a Global Service Hub and a Global Digital Hub, both expected to become operational in the second quarter of 2026. These hubs will operate as separate entities and support BASF’s worldwide operations across key functions, including finance, human resources, supply chain, regulatory services, and in-house consulting.
The project was formalised with the handover of a Letter of Intent (LoI) by a BASF executive to Duddilla Sridhar Babu.
According to a government statement issued on Tuesday, the centres are expected to play a crucial role in standardising processes, enhancing operational efficiency, and driving digital transformation across BASF’s global business units.
