Construction begins on Talcher Fertilizers' ₹13,277 Crore Ammonia Project in Odisha.

The construction of the Ammonia Project that Talcher Fertilizers Limited is undertaking in Talcher, Angul, Odisha, has begun, and the project is now under progress. 

In order to achieve its goal of producing 2200 tons of ammonia per day, 3850 tons of urea per day, and 850 tons of nitric acid per day, the project will require an expenditure of 13,277 crores.

The completion of this project is a crucial step toward increasing India's capacity for producing fertilizer, ensuring that the country would be self-sufficient, and satisfying the ever-increasing need for fertilizers. 

The strategic position in Talcher, Odisha, provides access to raw resources as well as transportation networks, which makes it easier to carry out operations and distribute goods. 

Not only will the Ammonia Project, once it is finished, boost Talcher Fertilizers Limited's position in the fertilizer sector, but it will also contribute to the economic prosperity of Odisha and the nation as a whole.
