Chhattisgarh & Uttarakhand Boost: UltraTech's 1.2 MTPA Expansion.

UltraTech Cement has enhanced its production capacity by 1.2 million tonnes per annum (MTPA) through efficiency improvements and debottlenecking initiatives.

As part of its ongoing expansion strategy, the company has identified and successfully implemented several efficiency-enhancing measures across its facilities. This has resulted in a stabilized capacity increase of 1.2 MTPA.

The expansion includes an integrated unit in Hirmi, Chhattisgarh, contributing 0.8 MTPA, and a grinding unit in Roorkee, Uttarakhand, adding 0.4 MTPA. These developments strengthen UltraTech’s production capabilities and reaffirm its commitment to meeting rising market demand. With this addition, the company’s total domestic grey cement manufacturing capacity now stands at 178.86 MTPA.
