Paras Defence and Space Technologies Ltd has secured an order worth about ₹80.28 crore, including taxes, from the Defence Research and Development Organisation under the Ministry of Defence for the development of a high-precision optical system for air defence applications.
The company disclosed the development in a regulatory filing to the BSE and National Stock Exchange of India on Monday, March 9, 2026.
According to the filing, the contract is domestic in nature and will be executed within 18 months from the date of the supply order. Paras Defence stated that the transaction does not qualify as a related-party deal and that DRDO has no promoter or promoter group interest in the company.
