The new multi-speciality building at Mumbai’s historic Sir JJ Hospital is nearing completion, with handover expected by December 2025.
The modern complex comprises four interconnected blocks—A, B, C, and D—featuring two basement levels, a ground floor, and ten upper floors. In Blocks A, B, and C, RCC work has been completed, and finishing activities such as painting, plumbing, electrical installations, and fire safety system setup are underway. Construction of lift rooms and water tanks is also in progress.
In Block D, the 10th floor and terrace slab have been completed, with ongoing work on lift rooms, water tank installation, and interior finishes. According to Dr. Ajay Bhandarwar, Dean of Sir JJ Hospital, patient services are expected to commence by mid-2025, with the entire facility fully operational by year-end.
