Haryana-based Systrome Technologies has inaugurated a state-of-the-art electronics manufacturing facility in Thiruvananthapuram, investing ₹100 crore in this venture. This move aligns with the ‘Atma Nirbhar Bharat’ initiative, promoting self-reliance in electronics manufacturing, according to a company spokesperson.
The facility was officially opened by P. Raja Manickam, founder of Tessolve and former CEO of Tata Electronics (OSAT unit), at a ceremony held at the Kinfra Film and Video Park in Kazhakoottam. The event saw the presence of prominent figures such as Santhosh Koshy Thomas, MD of Kinfra, and S. Harikishore, Director of Industries and Commerce, Kerala.
Strategically located with excellent connectivity via road, rail, air, and waterways, the facility will focus on producing high-quality telecom and networking products. This is expected to meet the growing demands of both domestic and international telecom sectors, while also creating significant employment opportunities.
Anil Raj, MD of Systrome Technologies, described the new unit as "ultra-modern and sophisticated," highlighting its role in establishing Kerala as a hub for high-tech manufacturing. He noted that the facility is set to quadruple the company’s production capacity within a year.
This initiative is anticipated to boost economic growth in the region, reinforcing India’s position in the global electronics manufacturing landscape.
