The Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) has invited bids for a significant in-situ rehabilitation project in the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) area. The project aims to transform slum areas into modern living spaces, improving the quality of life for residents.

The main site for the project is located at F.pl.no.65 in Sangamwadi Pune Patil Estates Slum. This redevelopment will be carried out at an estimated cost of ₹300 crore. The project will be executed on a design, build, finance, and transfer (DBFT) basis, ensuring comprehensive involvement from the selected developer.

Additionally, the project includes a separate rehabilitation accommodation at S.no.93p F.pl.no.513p in Parvati Pune, Mahatma Phule Vasahata, with a budget of ₹100 crore. This expansion emphasizes the project’s broad scope and the SRA's commitment to addressing housing issues in multiple areas.

The SRA has set a bid submission deadline of 18 September 2024 for both locations. The selected developer will be responsible for delivering high-quality, sustainable housing solutions within the specified timeframe and budget.

This rehabilitation initiative represents a critical step towards urban renewal in Pune, reflecting the ongoing efforts to provide better living conditions for residents of slum areas while enhancing the city's infrastructure.
