Mandarwaja Rising: SMC Invites Bids for Integrated Group Housing Project

Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) is inviting bids for the redevelopment of an integrated group housing facility located in Mandarwaja Tenements, Gujarat. The comprehensive project includes the refurbishment of various amenities such as the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Municipal Shopping Centre, fire station, SMC school, and anganwadi, situated on FP no.188/P, TPS no. 07 (Anjana). The redevelopment will be conducted through a public-private partnership (PPP) model, following the guidelines of the Redevelopment of Public Housing Scheme 2016.

Anticipated to be completed within a 36-month timeframe, the project is estimated to incur costs around Rs 192.29 crore. Prospective bidders are required to submit their proposals by the deadline of 05 February 2024.
