Ambernath Takes a Deep Breath: Globe Gas' Oxygen Storage Project

Globe Gas Equipments Private Limited is undertaking a significant initiative by constructing a new non-cryogenic liquid and gaseous oxygen storage facility in Ambernath, Thane, Maharashtra. This endeavor reflects their dedication to meeting the escalating demand for oxygen across diverse sectors.

The facility's impressive capacity includes a production capability of 10 tonnes per day (TPD) for liquid oxygen and 50 TPD for gaseous oxygen, which will notably bolster the regional oxygen supply.

The produced oxygen will serve various industries, ranging from healthcare and food and beverage to manufacturing, thereby facilitating essential processes and enhancing product quality across sectors.

Anticipated to create employment opportunities for approximately 50 individuals in the Ambernath region, the project holds promise for socio-economic development.

Currently in the planning phase, Globe Gas Equipments has initiated the process of obtaining environmental clearance from the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change (MoEFCC) as part of its meticulous project development process.

With an estimated cost of around ₹26 crore, this initiative by Globe Gas Equipments is expected to yield substantial benefits, including improved healthcare access, enhanced industrial efficiency, and regional economic development in Ambernath.
