upGrad Invests ₹100 Cr in Offline Learning Revolution

upGrad, a leading platform for skill development and workforce enhancement, has unveiled an ambitious initiative to establish 100 offline 'Connect and Counselling' touchpoints and Learning Centers across India, complementing its robust online growth strategy.

With an initial investment of ₹100 crore, the company aims to extend its reach into non-metro areas and smaller towns, with the goal of ramping up operations within the next 12 months.

The inauguration of the first two counselling centers in Mumbai and Delhi, alongside the first two learning centers in Indore and Pune, signifies the initial phase of this expansive project. These centers have already conducted over 500 career counselling sessions within the first 30 days. upGrad anticipates that the 100 centres will offer career guidance to more than half a million individuals, while the learning centers are projected to enroll over 10,000 learners.

He underscored the significance of upskilling in today's fiercely competitive landscape, asserting that timely skill enhancement is imperative for India's global competitiveness.
