Praruh Technologies Ltd has secured a major order worth approximately ₹38.98 crore from RailTel Corporation of India Ltd for the deployment of an optical fiber-based Metro DWDM network using next-generation, SDN-enabled optical technologies.
The project aims to address India’s rapidly growing bandwidth requirements by enabling efficient, flexible, and high-capacity data transmission through Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) systems.
Under the contract, Praruh Technologies will design, implement, and maintain the network across 286 locations nationwide, deploying around 400 devices from Nokia Networks over an eight-year period.
This order reflects RailTel’s continued investment in strengthening the country’s optical fiber backbone and highlights Praruh Technologies Ltd’s expanding capabilities in executing large-scale telecom infrastructure projects.
