New Heights for HAL: The IOCL Panipat Refinery Deal

HAL Offshore has emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a contract awarded by Indian Oil Corporation (IOCL) for its Panipat Refinery in Haryana.

The scope of work includes the replacement of coke drums along with associated mechanical, structural, and piping modifications aimed at upgrading and stabilising operations. The project is designed to enhance efficiency, improve safety standards, and ensure greater reliability in refinery performance, particularly within the delayed coker unit that processes heavy crude residues.

The execution aligns with IOCL’s ongoing refinery optimisation programme at one of its key facilities. Once completed, the upgraded system is expected to boost throughput and ensure smoother operations in the coker unit, which plays a vital role in improving fuel output and overall product yield.
