Atlanta Electricals has secured a major order from Punjab State Transmission Corporation Limited (PSTCL) for the supply of power transformers and associated fire protection systems.
The company has received a Letter of Award (LoA) for the procurement of 23 units of 160 MVA, 220/66 kV power transformers. The contract also includes the supply and integration of Nitrogen Injection Fire Prevention and Extinguishing Systems (NIFPES), along with optional spares. The total order value stands at ₹285.15 crore, inclusive of applicable taxes, with the transformers and NIFPES accounting for ₹284.51 crore and optional spares valued at ₹63.66 lakh.
Atlanta Electricals has maintained a strong presence in Punjab’s power transmission sector, having supplied nearly 200 transformers to the state over the past eight years, representing an installed capacity of approximately 5,000 MVA. The latest order further reinforces the company’s position as a key supplier supporting the expansion and reliability of Punjab’s transmission infrastructure.
