Atlanta Electricals: Powering India’s Grid with New ₹190 Cr Order

Atlanta Electricals Limited (NSE, BSE: ATLANTAELE) has secured an order worth ₹190 crore from Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited for the supply of power transformers, the company announced.

As per the Notification of Award, the contract includes 53 units of 50 MVA 132/33 KV power transformers along with 53 Nitrogen Injection Fire Prevention and Extinguishing Systems (NIFPES), bringing the total order value to approximately ₹190 crore.

Commenting on the development, Chairman and Managing Director Niral Patel said the order reflects sustained trust from a long-standing customer and highlights the company’s execution capabilities. He noted that it also demonstrates the strength of Atlanta Electricals’ product portfolio in the transmission segment and is expected to improve capacity utilisation across its manufacturing facilities, while deepening engagement with state utilities and supporting India’s grid modernisation efforts.

The rate contract awarded by RVPN is valid for two years, with an option for extension as per bid terms. Supplies will be carried out in accordance with the technical and commercial conditions specified in the agreement.

This order further strengthens Atlanta Electricals’ footprint in India’s power transmission sector and reinforces its capability to deliver high-capacity, technologically advanced transformer solutions to state utilities.
