Karnataka is getting a massive cinematic upgrade! The state cabinet has approved a Rs 729.43 crore International Film City in Mysuru’s Nanjanagud taluk. Spanning over 160 acres just 21 km from the Mysuru KSRTC Bus Stand, this PPP-model project aims to become a premier entertainment and tourism destination. Upgraded from its original 2025 budget framework, the sprawling complex will boast world-class shooting floors, post-production suites, hospitality options, and commercial zones to supercharge Karnataka's film industry.
