ONGC awards contract to L&T

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has won a significant contract worth up to ₹2,500 crore from the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC). This project, managed by L&T Energy Hydrocarbon (LTEH), focuses on the eighth phase of the pipeline replacement project off India's west coast, involving the engineering, procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning of 129 km of subsea pipelines and associated modifications. The order falls within L&T's classification of significant orders, ranging between ₹1,000 crore and ₹2,500 crore.

Subramanian Sarma, L&T’s Whole-Time Director & President–Energy, emphasized that this order underscores ONGC’s continued trust in L&T, rooted in their proven track record with complex offshore projects. He stated that this latest contract reinforces L&T’s dedication to meeting India’s energy needs. The LTEH vertical, known for its integrated design-to-build solutions, has been setting global benchmarks in project management, corporate governance, quality, health safety environment, and operational excellence for over three decades.
