Sathlokhar Synergys E&C Global Limited (SSEGL) has been awarded a significant ₹62.53 crore contract from Vinfast Auto India Private Limited for comprehensive Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) work at Vinfast's upcoming electric vehicle (EV) factory in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. This project marks a crucial milestone for both companies, particularly as Vinfast, the Vietnamese EV manufacturer, makes its foray into the Indian market.
The contract involves the installation of critical infrastructure, including electrical systems, HVAC systems, plumbing, and firefighting mechanisms, all essential components for the factory's operational efficiency. SSEGL's expertise in handling large-scale industrial projects will be pivotal in ensuring that the facility is fully equipped to meet the rigorous demands of EV production. The company is slated to complete this project by December 2024, aligning with Vinfast's ambitious timelines for launching operations in India.
