L&T's B&F Lands Massive Govt. Contracts in Delhi and Andhra Pradesh

Larsen & Toubro’s Buildings & Factories (B&F) vertical has secured large engineering and construction contracts from both Central and state government agencies, further strengthening its position as a key player in India’s infrastructure sector.

The company has received a significant EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) order from the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) for the development of Common Central Secretariat buildings 6 and 7 in New Delhi. The project will include one basement, two podiums, an upper ground floor, and six additional floors.

The scope of work covers civil construction, finishing, MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) services, external site development, and a five-year operation and maintenance period.

In a separate win, L&T has been awarded a major contract by the Government of Andhra Pradesh for the design and construction of the new State Legislative Assembly building. This facility will comprise a basement, ground floor, and three upper floors.

Both projects are scheduled for completion within 18 months.
