MCGM Greenlights ₹805 Cr. JJ Flyover Upgrade

The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) has issued a tender for the construction of a flyover at the junction of JJ Road and Sabu Siddik Polytechnic Road, aimed at improving traffic flow and regional connectivity.

The new flyover will replace the existing Y-bridge and integrate with the JJ flyover, helping to ease congestion and enhance overall infrastructure. The project is valued at ₹805.15 crore, with a contract period of 18 months, excluding the monsoon season.

Construction is expected to commence shortly after the contract is awarded, and upon completion, the flyover is projected to significantly strengthen the transport network in the area.
